It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Mowere Longacre (Harrisonburg, Virginia), born in Barto, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 16, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Paul Eschbach; his siblings, Rhoda King (David), Aaron Longacre and Paul Longacre; Doris.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Detwiler Longacre; his children, Sheryl Shenk (Jonathan), Jan David Longacre (Paula), Katrine Rose (Phil) and Dena Tompkins; his siblings, Mark Longacre (Ruth), Anna Mary Brubacher (Glenn) and James Longacre (Ellen); his grandchildren, Suzanne Pozzo (Dan), David Shenk, Brian Shenk, Phillip Matthew Rose (Tamera), Marcus C. Rose, Abby Tompkins and Tiffany Rose Longacre; his great grandchildren, Coralie Pozzo, Luca Pozzo and Vivienne Pozzo; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Heisey and Muffy Longacre.
