It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Denise Anne (Kinzley) Whitman of Harrisonburg, Virginia, born in Mitchell, South Dakota, who passed away on October 23, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Darrell W. Kinzley and Doris L. Bidleman Kinzley; her husband Dr. Richard F. Whitman, Jr.; her daughter Alyson Manoukian; and her sister Diane Kinzley.

She is survived by: her daughter Andrea Ray (Steve) of Harrisonburg; her granddaughters, Amanda Ray (Eric Fehlinger) of Alexandria, Zoe Manoukian of Richmond and Lily Manoukian of Athens, OH; and her son-in-law Mark Manoukian of Upper Arlington, OH..
