He was predeceased by: his parents, Denton Thompson, Sr. and Fannie Gum Thompson; and his brother-in-law Billy Hinkle. He is survived by: his sisters, Lori Hinkle of Churchville and Wanda Morris (Chad) of Churchville; his aunt Ruby "Tootie" Rawley (Steve) of Mt. Solon; and his close friend Billy Shifflett of Elkton.
