Doris Showalter Trumbo Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Showalter Trumbo of Harrisonburg, Virginia, who passed away on August 20, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Flora Grove Showalter; her siblings, Carl (Louise Mensch), Howard (Irene Geiser), Jacob (Mazie Wilkins), Owen (Edith Rhodes), James (Joyce Blosser), Mary Emma Eby (Ira), Ethel Strite (Lewis) and Kathryn Shank (Samuel); her sister-in-law Joyce Showalter (James); her spouse Norvell Trumbo; her sons, Steven (Pamela Arnold) of Stuarts Draft, Scott (Nancy Holt) of Tualatin, Oregon and Brent (Judith Reitz) of Broadway; and her grandchildren, Sarah Trumbo, Jonas Trumbo, Max Trumbo and Cody Trumbo.
All persons are asked to wear masks indoors for visitation and the service.
