He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin F. Taylor and Blanche E. Taylor; and his wife Joan Bridgers. He is survived by: his brothers, Calvin Taylor and David Taylor; his nephew John Taylor (Jill); his great-nephew Benjamin Taylor; his great-nieces, Hope Taylor and Ryan Taylor; and his sisters-in-law, Margo Sisson and Priscilla Hedgepeth.
