It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edith J Carrier of Harrisonburg, Virginia, who passed away on March 14, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald E. Carrier; her son Michael Lavon Carrier; her grandson Walter Edwin Carrier; her sister Evelyn Johnson McClellan; and her parents, Mary Kate Pectol and Andrew William Johnson.

She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Carrier Frazee (Butch) of Bainbridge Island and Jennine Carrier of Rockland, Maine; her daughter-in-law Linda Miller Carrier of Harrisonburg; her grandchildren, Sarah Frazee Trester (Steve) of Kirkland, Washington, Matthew Carrier Frazee (Serena) of Seattle, Joshua Thomas, Noah Carrier of Rochester and Sam Carrier of Harrisonburg; her great grandchildren, Casen Carrier Trester, Hudson Luke Trester, Griffen Andrew Trester, Sophia Grace Frazee and Eli Carrier Frazee; and her sister Lois Johnson of Harrisonburg.

Facial coverings and social distancing will be required for the health of others.
