He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiley Robert and Ruth Knight Ewing of Virginia; and his sister Betty Derrow. He is survived by: his son Stephan Ewing of Mt. Crawford; his brother Wilson Ewing; and his caregivers, Carol Kilgore and Karen Payne.
