She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester McDonald and Cora Lee Shifflett McDonald; her husband Otis S. Dean; her son Keith W. Dean; and her siblings, Russell McDonald, Mozell Williams and Madeline Meadows.
She is survived by: her son Greg Dean (Sue) of Harrisonburg, VA; her daughter-in-law Linda Dean of Florence, SC; her sister-in-law Bernice May McDonald of Elkton, VA.; and her grandchildren, Justin Evans (Jennifer) of Florence, SC, Nicholas Dean (Maurine) of Dillon, SC, Coleby Dean (Kim), Joshua Dean (Alana), Matthew Dean (Kelly) and Janelle Donaldson (Jeremy). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
