With sadness, we share the passing of Gail Baxter Beam of Harrisonburg, Virginia. Gail, born on October 24, 1946, passed away on August 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Billie Baxter Beam and Catherine Charlotte Crawford Beam; his sister Judy Beam Helmick (Greg); and his sister-in-law Carolyn Lawson Beam. He is survived by: his siblings, Gerald "Gerry" Beam, Garland Beam (Cindy) and Cindy Showalter of Cross Keys; his aunts, Nancy Graham of Delaware and Jean Crawford of Florida; his nieces and nephews, Patricia Helmick Lambert, Camala Beam Kite (Robbie), Rebecca Beam Hummel (Jimmy), Shaun Beam of Jonathan and Michael Dean; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ashlyn Patel (Krutarth), Gavyn Burkholder (Hannah), Anneliese Perkins, Bryden Kite, Joel Perkins, Natalie Lambert and Elizabeth "Lizzy" Beam; Aarav "Aarry" Patel and Kavi Patel. He is also survived by his family, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Kitchen Fund at Mill Creek Church of the Brethren; 7600 Port Republic Road, Port Republic, VA 24471. Please include a note that the donation is for the Kitchen Fund in memory of Gail Beam.
