He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marie Shank and Norman Rhodes Shank; his wife Susan Shank (Steffen); his children, Chris Shank (Teresa) and Jennifer Middlebrook (Chris); his grandsons, Channing, Tyson Shank, Rhodes and Sawyer Middlebrook; his siblings, Lois Depoy (Todd) and Sheldon Shank (Barbara); Susanna Knicely. He was also cherished by five siblings and their spouses; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Weavers Mennonite Church Building Fund, 2501 Rawley Pike, Harrisonburg, VA 22801.
