She is survived by: her close friend Charles Edward Reed of Harrisonburg; her daughters, Pat Harris (Bob) of Hinton and Kimberly Simmons-Eckard (Chris) of Bridgewater; her grandchildren, Carroll Ray Pennington, Jr., Leslie Eckard and Christopher Eckard; her great grandchild Alexis Pennington; and her nephews, Richard Caldwell, Jimmy Caldwell and Randy Caldwell.
