He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Lee Painter and Marie Pauline Monger Lawson. He is survived by : his wife Betty Virginia Long; his son Tim Painter; and his siblings, Mark Painter (Terri), Larry Painter (Patty) and Shirley Spencer.
