It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Marie Younger in Harrisonburg, Virginia, who passed away on April 4, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Hazel departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Hazel may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Hazel leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond E Osborne and Clie T Osborne; and her husband William O Younger Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Cher and Geoffrey Younger (Cher) of Port Republic, VA; her grandchildren, Abigail and Joseph; and her sister Inez Paschal (Ron). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and their children.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lawndale Baptist Church in memory of Hazel.
