He was predeceased by: his brothers, Dr. Edwin M. Coulter (Nancy Mattison Coulter) of Clemson, SC and H. P. Coulter, Jr. (Becky) of Kannapolis, NC; and his siblings-in-law, Dave Buckley of Cornelia, GA and Joan Yarrow Barber (Robert J. Barber) of Northville, Michigan.. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Yarrow Coulter; his sons, Thomas Andrew Coulter (Johanna) and Daniel Yarrow Coulter (Elnura); his grandchildren, Michael, Jim and Julia Coulter; his sister Sandra Buckley of Cornelia, GA; and his sister-in-law Susan Yarrow Cook (Ronald E. Cook) of Raleigh, NC. He is also survived by four nephews and five nieces.
