We are sad to announce that on April 15, 2024 we had to say goodbye to John Thaxton Mauzy of Harrisonburg, Virginia, born in Winston Salem, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by : his wife Elizabeth (Betsy); his children, Katherine Robinson (Jim), Liza, Jack, Thaxton (Devin) and Hampton; his grandson Hudson; and his brother William.

A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church (660 S Main St, Harrisonburg, VA 22801). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
