He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Winfred and Gladys Bynaker Hottinger; his sister Irene Thompson (Dale); and his parents-in-law, Jennings Layman and Wilma Layman.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo Layman Hottinger; his children, Travis Michael Hottinger (Molly), Kevin Owen Hottinger (Ashlie) and Heather Jo Hottinger; his grandchildren, Madison Hottinger, Owen Hottinger, Lexy Thacker, Alex Burrell and Raelyn Jo Hottinger; his brothers, David Hottinger (Beverly), Everette Hottinger (Julie) and Gerald Hottinger (Sharon); and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Layman and Eldon Layman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
