She was predeceased by : her father Ellis B. Harsh. She is survived by : her mother Helen Schlossnagle Harsh; her son Jason Bradley Krech; her husband Stephen Alan Krech; her siblings, Gary Harsh (Sharon), Gloria Bachman (Darrell) and Ronald Harsh (Tammy); and her aunt JoJo. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in Joyce's honor to Massanutten Regional Library, an institution she took great pride in and loved throughout her life.
