With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judith Catherine (Bland) Sponaugle (Harrisonburg, Virginia), born in Harman, West Virginia, who passed away on April 9, 2023 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Byron Bland; her siblings, Shirley Yokum, Billie Tubaugh, Harper, Byron Jr. and Thomas Bland; and her mother Erma Harper Bland.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Boggs (Donald) of Chattanooga, TN and Peggy Waldron of Richmond, VA.; her grandchildren, Roderick Boggs (Lori) of Tampa, FL, Derek Boggs (Alexandra) of Atlanta, GA, Tracy Waldron and Krystle Waldron (Cole) of Richmond, VA; her great grandchildren, Matthew, Lauren, George, James, Harlan Boggs and Byron Johnson; and her husband Roscoe Sponaugle. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
