We announce the death of Kenneth Dale Smith of Harrisonburg, Virginia, who passed away on July 21, 2026, at the age of 71. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kirby Hatten Smith Jr. and Billie Easterlin Smith; and his sister Sherry Leviner. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Schreiber Smith; his children, Christopher "Chris" Smith (Mandi) of Bridgewater, Virginia and Shannon Davenport (Caine) of Bridgewater, Virginia; his grandchildren, Cami, Cooper Smith, Lucas and Nash Davenport; his brother Kip Smith (Debbie) of Maryland; and his stepsons, Tanner May and Travis May. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Fishersville Community Church's So Much More building project in Ken's memory.
