She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Crawford and Nellie Ritchie Wine; her husband Nelson Alexander; her daughter Emily Sterrett; her granddaughter Amanda Johnson; and her siblings, Sharon Wine Alexander, Alvin Earl Wine and Fred Gibson.
She is survived by: her sons, Neil Alexander (Kathy) of Bridgewater and Steve Alexander (Judy) of Staunton; her son-in-law Robert "Mac" Sterrett (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Allison Sterrett-Krause (Joseph), Ian Sterrett (Emily), Lauren Alexander, Erin Hullender (Josh), Matthew Alexander (BeeJay) and Daniel Alexander; her granddaughter-in-law Jessica Johnson; her stepgranddaughters, Jennifer Moore and Kristina Byrd; her great grandchildren, Greg Krause, David Krause, Andrew Sterrett, William Sterrett, Dominick Johnson, Avery Johnson and Sadie Alexander; and her stepgreat-granddaughters, Madeline Moore and Juliette Moore.
