She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Lavergne and Marie Agnes Lavergne; her husband John D. Gitchell; and her children, Joe Gitchell and Danielle Gitchell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Andrée Gitchell (John Raines) of Bridgewater and Christa Gitchell (Bruce Krall) of Broadway. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
