She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Dingess and Dixie Butcher Dingess; her sons, Victor Allen Knicely and Gregory Bruce Knicely; and her siblings, Charles Arvil Dingess, Mac Arthur Dingess, Bonnie Eloise Dingess Howes, Pauline "Polly" Dingess Goodwin, Lois Evelyn Dingess Conrad, Ella Mae Dingess Ingram and Anetta Carolyn Dingess Shipe.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Lynn Knicely and Christy Knicely Corbin (Dean); and her grandchildren, Lauren Knicely Sprouse, Ryan Knicely (Jessica), Elizabeth Knicley Fisher (Brandon), Taylor Knicely (Haley), Josh Knicely and Erica Knicely Wilson (David). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry Funeral Home (1030 W Beverley St, Staunton, VA 24401).
