She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Andrew and Virginia Adams Kiser; her husband Jack Stanley Neff; and her daughter-in-law Kathy of Christiansburg. She is survived by: her sons, Jack Harbor of Christiansburg, Robert Andrew (Rosa) of Tampa, FL and Joseph Kiser (Lynn) of Richmond; her grandsons, Reuben Andrew (Sheila) of Ottumwa and Christofer Robert (Johanna) of Tiffin, OH; her great grandchild Emerson Isaak Andrew; and her siblings, Ralph P. Kiser of Port Republic and Jo Ann Kiser of Chester. She is also survived by two nieces and one nephew.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sunnyside Retirement Community or First Presbyterian Church.

“The way people treat neighbors and their children reveals much. My numerous siblings and I roamed the neighborhood like a pack of feral dogs. To our imaginative minds, the fence surrounding the Neff's large back yard, complete with wild trees, shrubs and honeysuckle, was a veritable jungle. Whole days were spent prowling through the undergrowth, & climbing trees. The fence never stood a chance! Mary and Jack never fussed at us and their yard became the "commons." Fond memories, Dolly S. F.”
