Mary Margaret Whitmore Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on April 11, 2023, at the age of 96, Mary Margaret Whitmore (Harrisonburg, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles William Andrew and Rosie Belle Minnick Wheelbarger; her husband Stanley Hartman Whitmore; her son Charles Elwood Whitmore; her granddaughter Krystal Whitmore; her daughter-in-law Carolyn Whitmore; and her siblings, Bessie Wheelbarger, Paul Long, Reba Nicholas, Andy Wheelbarger, Frank Wheelbarger, Ethel Wheelbarger, Johnny Wheelbarger and Glen Wheelbarger.

She is survived by: her children, Warren L. Whitmore, Donna W. Hill (Lynn) and Marvin W. Whitmore (Melinda); her daughter-in-law Mary Lou Whitmore; and her grandchildren, Scott Whitmore, Maria Whitmore Smith, Jeremy Whitmore, Rosemary Louk, Christina Hill and Emily Whitmore. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
