Mildred Hostetter Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mildred Hostetter of Harrisonburg, Virginia, born in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 7, 2025 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Heacock and Esther Heacock; her husband Jack of Denbigh, VA; her daughter Cheryl Yvonne Hostetter; her brother Lester Heacock (Sarah Hellman); her siblings-in-law, Sarah Hellman Heacock, Gladys Hostetter Burke and Gerry Burke; and her son-in-law Orie Wenger.

She is survived by: her children, Beverly Hostetter Wenger, Ardith Hostetter Kauffman (James) of Harrisonburg, Vaughn of Harrisonburg, Alden (Louise) of Harrisonburg, David (Miriam) of Harrisonburg, Loren (Glenda) of Harrisonburg and Eric (Janet) of Harrisonburg; and her grandchildren, David Wenger (Tasha), Lydia Wenger Wade (Steven), Joseph Wenger (Jenna), John Hostetter, Jason Hostetter (Brenna), Andrew Hostetter (Julia), Breanna Hostetter Robles (David), Aaron Hostetter, Patrice Hostetter, Kara Hostetter, Hannah Hostetter Collins (Kate), Liesl Hostetter, Brook Hostetter Gonzalez (Joel), Benjamin Hostetter, Jaden Hostetter, Emily Kauffman and Stephen Kauffman. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
