She is survived by: her husband Robert Garber, Jr.; her children, Terry Whitmer (Penny) of Harrisonburg, VA, Robbie Garber (Tamara) of Texas, Carrie Whitmer Shifflett of Rockingham, VA and Dana Lackey; her grandchildren, Jessica Whitmer, Summer, Kayla, Seth Shifflett, Taylor and Dylan Garber; her great grandchildren, Amyiah Shifflett and Kayvin Gregory; and her siblings, Lois Montgomery, Donna Kay York, Frances Poplin, Clinton, Jack and Ernie Burgess.
