Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Omar Eby (Harrisonburg, Virginia), born in Hagerstown, Maryland, who passed away at the age of 85, on January 4, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Reuben and Catherine Martin Eby; his wife Anna Kathryn Shenk; and his siblings, Edwin Eby, Glenn Eby and Lydia Diller.

He is survived by: his children, Katrina Yoder (Michael) of New York City, Maria Lahman (Brent) of Greeley, CO and Omar Lawrence Eby of Weyers Cave, VA; his grandchildren, Lauren Mica Yoder, Noa Kathryn Yoder, Makayla Dawn Eby, Joshua Omar Eby, Martin Byard Lahman and Anna Catherine "Kate" Lahman; and his sister Ada Showalter of Hagerstown, MD..

Due to the pandemic there will be no viewing or visitation. At Omar's request his body was cremated and a graveside burial will be held privately for the family.
