She was predeceased by: her parents, George Alfred and Myrtle Bryant Kloer; her son Jeffery William; and her husband Robert Fred Ahrens. She is survived by: her children, Glenn R. Ahrens (Cathy) of Meredith and Karen A. Wheatley (Bob) of Harrisonburg, Virginia; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Newbery, Christopher Ahrens, Jordan Skolnitsky, Gray Wheatley, Kristin Stephens and Gregory Guntharp. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and three nieces.
