He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert "Pete" Davidson and Ruth Mae Kinder Davidson; his wife Evelyn Fae Mutter Davidson; his stepmother Nannie Lou Belcher Davidson; his brothers, John, Jack, Allen and Walt Davidson; his brother-in-law Allen Lawson (Robert "June" Amburgy); his sisters, Lucy Lawson, Lena Amburgy, Cora Long and Margaret "Susie" Robinette; and his sister-in-law Rosieta Davidson.
He is survived by: his daughter Terry Lynn Davidson Humphries (Kevin) of Harrisonburg, VA; his granddaughter Kimberly Hess of Harrisonburg; his great grandchildren, Kendal, Reagan, David and Sydney Burgess of Harrisonburg, VA; his granddaughter Jennifer Matthias (Drew) of Lexington, KY.; his brothers, Roy "Bill" Davidson of Princeton, WV and Douglas "Gene" Davidson; and his siblings-in-law, Hughie Horton Long of Heritage Hall, John "Jay" Robinette of Clemmons, NC and Jean Davidson of Tazewell, VA..
