He was predeceased by: his parents, William Marshall, Sr. and Catherine Rowland Boyd; his wife Barbara Stewart Griffin; and his son Michael S. Boyd. He is survived by: his grandson Cody Boyd Harrisonburg; his brother Bruce Boyd of Charleston, WV; and his grandchildren, Jordene and Corah.
