He was predeceased by: his parents, Hughes Sharpe and Gladys Swecker Sharpe; his wife Kathy Kmetz; his daughter Gwenn Campanella; and his brother Larry Sharpe.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Frye (Chris), Michael Sharpe (Rebecca) and Samantha Altenberger (Chad); his siblings, Phillip Sharpe (Penny) and Judy Young (Edward); and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Sharpe, Andrew Sharpe, Brandon Campanella, Amanda Campanella and Daniel Campanella.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Sunset Drive United Methodist Church (127 S Sunset Dr, Broadway, VA 22815).
