With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ricky Crawford (Harrisonburg, Virginia), who passed away on August 8, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Goldie May Taylor. He is survived by: his parent Tiny Ott Crawford (Cindy) of Fulks Run; his close friend Valarie Baldwin; his children, Donald Howdyshell, Ricky Crawford, Jr. (Rhonda), Amy Crawford, J'Lea Crawford, I and Lea Crawford; his siblings, Danny Crawford (Diane), Joey Palmer (Karen), Randy Crawford, Bobby Palmer, Tracey Gentry (Ronnie), Tina Bocook (D. A.), Tammy Shifflett (Mike), Katie Crawford and Kimberly Taylor; his grandchildren, Landon, Chase, Caleb, Courtney, Dezarai, Donald Jr., Bentley, Grayson and Porter; and also, Bobby Joe Crawford, Sara "Polly" Inscoe, Bubby Pitsenbarger, Jeffrey Crawford and John Howdyshell.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McMullen Funeral Home (5784 Greenmount Rd, Harrisonburg, VA 22802). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gospel Hill Mennonite Church (6179 Hopkins Gap Rd, Fulks Run, VA 22830).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with final expenses, McMullen Funeral Home, 5784 Greenmount Road, Rockingham, VA 22802.
