Robert Williams Parmenter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Williams Parmenter (Harrisonburg, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 25, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Robert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Parmenter and Geraldine Parmenter (Lawrence); and his brother Thomas Parmenter. He is survived by: his wife Karen Ruth Howard; his son Peter Parmenter; his siblings, Richard, Donald Parmenter and Linda Williams; and his sisters-in-law, Janet Koza and Norma Hanks. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
