With sadness, we share the passing of Robert James Steere of Harrisonburg, Virginia. Robert, born on February 22, 1936, passed away on June 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Leslie Steere and Mary Steere; and his wife Ann Shirley Boyer. He is survived by: his children, Aileen Steere of Harrisonburg and Robert P. Steere of Worcester, Massachusetts; his granddaughter Jasmin Steere of Northern Virginia; and his siblings, Marianne (Connecticut), Betty (Nevada) and Jim (New York). He is also survived by his niece and many nephews.
Flowers are welcomed, but if you would like to make a memorial donation in place, the family requests donations be made to the Blessed Sacrament Food Pantry; or the Harrisonburg High School Band Boosters Student Scholarship Fund.
