Ruby Whitelaw Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruby Whitelaw (Harrisonburg, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 27, 2026 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Ruby is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Ruby's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter E. Hartman and Della Pearl Layman Hartman; her siblings, Floyd Dwight Hartman and Alta Pearl Terry; and her brother-in-law Donald McMullen.
She is survived by: her husband Ernest B. Whitelaw Jr.; and her sister Juanita Fern McMullen.
