She is survived by: her former husband John Wesley Simmons; her husband Edward Charles Dinges; her children, Deborah Shifflett of Rockingham County, John Simmons (Leanne) of Marquette, MI, Tim Simmons (Karen) of Grottoes and Linda Simmons (Donna Nesci) of Bridgewater; her grandchildren, James W. Shifflett (Christine), Vernon Shifflett (Debrajean), Kenneth Shifflett (Micki), Casey Simmons, Sarah Simmons Carmody (Tony) and Jessica Simmons; and her great grandchildren, Madisyn, Samantha, Carson and Asher.
