She was predeceased by: her parents, Millard McPherson and Neva McPherson (Blair); her husband Don E. Smith, Sr.; her son Donald Smith; and her sisters, Mary Horton, Margaret Gold and Faye Griffis.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Blair Furman (David) and Danielle Smith (Chris Partsch); her great grandchildren, Katherine Furman, Caroline "Rosie" Furman and James Furman; and her daughter-in-law Faith N. Smith. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
