With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel Benjamin Mitchell of Harrisonburg, Virginia, who passed away on April 17, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Lois; his sister Bonnie Kautz; his children, Mary (Rick Sloan), Tim Mitchell (Sherry), David Mitchell (Becca) and Jonathan Mitchell; and his grandchildren, Matthew Sloan, Zachary Sloan (Hollie), Mollie (Spencer Getz), Kathryn and Caroline (Will Mitchell).
