It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah McDowell Weidig of Harrisonburg, Virginia, born in Ronceverte, West Virginia, who passed away on August 12, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Deane and Marjorie Vaughan McDowell. She is survived by: her husband Dr. George Louis Weidig, Jr.; her daughters, Jennifer Godby (B. J. Williams), Vaughan Clark (Jamie) and Sarah Villacarillo (Ron); and her grandchildren, Georgia Clark, Avery Godby and Luciano Villacarillo. She is also survived by sisters and brothers-in-law.
