He is survived by: his mother Helen "Maw" Moats Mines; his wife Janet Lavinda Campbell Mines; his son John Oliver Scudder; his granddaughter Alivia Rose Scudder; his children, Andrew and Megan Campbell; his granddaughter Anna Mae; and his siblings, Jeanne Reedy (Claude), Patsy Gray (Bill), Jackie Slye (Karl) and Tammy Mongold (Bobbie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
