It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Robert Taylor of Harrisonburg, Virginia, who passed away on March 11, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Wayne leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Earl and Lucille Wieland Taylor; his daughter Leigh Taylor; and his siblings, Craig Taylor, Carole Stohlman and Janelle Carlson.
He is survived by: his son David Wayne Taylor (Beth) of Arlington; his sister Linda McCauley of Sarasota, Fla.; and his grandchildren, Katharine, Abigail and William Taylor. He is also survived by one nephew and two nieces.
