It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Hubert Gentry of Harrisonburg, Virginia, who passed away on September 21, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Gentry Jr. and Sarah Eloise Gentry (Rogers) of Crozet; and his sister Barbara "Bobbi" Haden (Tommy). He is survived by: his children, John William Gentry II (Janice) of Afton and Cereta Newkirk (Todd) of Reston; his sister Susan Roehmer (John) of Oakton; and his granddaughter Madeline Newkirk of Reston.
