She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ira Sr. and Anna Frances May Getz; her husband Otho David Grimm; and her siblings, Garnet, Everett, George Jr., Wilda Ritchie and Catherine Lemons.

She is survived by: her children, David Grimm (Debbie) of Staunton, Diana Grimm of Morgantown, Pamela Grimm (Edward Sandy) of Pittsburgh and Amy Popp (Brian) of Virginia Beach; her grandchildren, Tracey Grimm (Rodrigo), Jake Bajada (Amelia), Rachel Ray (Matthew), Rebecca Popp and Ryan Popp; and her great grandchild Teddy Bajada. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kyger Funeral Home - Harrisonburg (3173 Spotswood Trail, Harrisonburg, VA 22801). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Eastlawn Memorial Gardens (3289 Spotswood Trail, Harrisonburg, VA 22801).
