He is survived by: his wife Ruth V. McFerrin; his daughters, Gloria Bauer (David) and Sandra Cooke (Todd); his grandchildren, Kevin Bauer, Eric Bauer (Emily), Trey McFerrin, Colin McFerrin and Christina Penick (William); his great grandchild Madelyn Bauer; and his siblings, Tracy McFerrin (Joanna) and Helen "Becky" McClain (George). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
