We announce the death of Dorothy Hogge Fox of Hayes, Virginia, who passed away on June 9, 2026, at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. Strange and Betty Porter Strange of Port St; her husband Norris J. Hogge; and her siblings, Christina Edens, Pearl Conrad, Buddy Strange and Ed Strange.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Hogge (Sheila), Randy Hogge, Jody Hogge (Ginger) and Renee Hiniker (Raymond); her grandchildren, Jonathan Hogge (Lola), Danielle Hogge (April), Ashley Kellum (Nick), Eric Coates (Amber) and Whitley Thompson (Justin); her stepgrandchildren, C. K. Ambrose (Donna) and Robert E. Ambrose (Amanda); and her sister Mary Grace Freeman. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
