He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sterling and Margaret Shackelford Sterling. He is survived by: his wife Jane K. Sterling; his children, Kim Sterling and Stuart Sterling; his daughter-in-law Amanda Sterling; his grandchildren, Curk (Ashley), Leah and Hannah (Knifton); and his great grandchildren, Braelyn and Janey.
