He is survived by: his wife Ann Galloway Oliver; his son Richard (Vali); his grandchildren, Matthew (Haley), Jonathan (Michelle), James (Emily), Bailey (Trent), Abbie (Matthew) and Valiree (Shane); his sisters, Shirley Hudgins, Nancy Milby and Janice Darnell (Jimmy); and his friend Shelly. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Beech Grove Baptist Church (4073 Cedar Bush Rd, Hayes, VA 23072).
