He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Dixon and Josephine Kilby Dixon of Laurel. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn S. Dixon; his stepsons, Michael Wayne Vizzuto (Caroline) and John Steven Vizzuto (Kaycie); his granddaughter Allison Vizzuto; and his cousins, Linda Lodge, Charles Kilby, Kathy Jackson (Michael) and Holly Sutliff (John).
