He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton J. Carter and Ida F. Carter. He is survived by: his son Brian Milton Carter, Sr.; his grandson Brian Milton Carter, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Kylie Lynn and Kaylie Mae Carter; and his sisters, Brenda Welborn (Rick) and Darlene Griffith (Dave).
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Wesley Evangelical Presbyterian Cemetery (70 Faith Cir, Weems, VA 22576).
