She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, David James Silberman and Mary Tinsmen Porter Silberman; her husband Scott Wayne Shepherd; her children, Nicole Vasquez (Travis), Emmalynn and Christopher Buchner; her grandson Sebastian; her sister Cyndi Caraway; her uncle Billy Silberman; her sister-in-law Stacy DuCellier (Vince); and her son David Wright.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Laura's memory to the Northumberland County Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 305, Heathsville, VA 22473, in honor of her love for animals.
